Book Review: One Step Too Far - Tina Seskis

" An apparently happy marriage. A beautiful son. A lovely home. So what makes Emily Coleman get up one morning and walk right out of her life to start all over again? Has she had a breakdown? Was it to escape her dysfunctional family - especially her flawed twin sister Caroline who always seemed to hate her? And what is the date that looms, threatening to force her to confront her past? No-one has ever guessed her secret. Will you?"

Unusually for me I didn't read anything about this book before I read it, which was nice because I had absolutely no idea what type of book it was and what it was about. I honestly had no idea about the twist in the plot, I thought I did, I thought i'd guessed and was still happy enough to carry on reading to see how it all panned out. So it fair to say when I read of Emily's secret I literally shouted out loud 'No Way!" and for me that it exactly the type of thing you want from a good book. For me this is a book I could go back and read again even knowing the truth, because as you do you notice all the clues that you may have missed first time round.

Let me know if you have read this book and what you thought of it, also let me know if you have read any other novels from Tina Seskis you have read and whether you would recommend them.

Thanks For Reading,

Sam x
