The book has been a New York Times best seller. The movie rights were sold to 20th Century Fox, and Jane Goldman has been hired to adapt the story as a screenplay. I think that Jane Goldman is perfect for this book, I remember going to see the woman in Black which she adapted for the big screen (nothing to do with Daniel Radcliffe, honest), and I thought it was brilliant.
