"Julie kissed Mark at the office Christmas party. She doesn't seem to remember, but he's not been able to forget. What better day to jog her memory than Valentine's Day?
Calum's found the girl of his dreams on the internet. Trouble is, he's not been completely honest about himself. Tonight he's meeting her for the first time. But will it also be the last?
Nathan's organised his usual Anti-Valentine's party for the office singletons. Sophie's going - again. Though this year, if she gets her way, they might just be leaving together.
One office, five lives, on the most romantic day of the year."
For me this is book was like a written version of an episode of the office, which I personally really enjoyed reading. Taking place on Valentines Day we follow the goings from five different perspectives of a software development company. We follow Julie, Mark, Calum, Nathan & Sophie, I thought it was good the way we get the point of view of both the men and women and how the events of the day are interpreted differently.
OK so the characters may be a bit predictable and there are some cheesy lines, but when has there ever been a Valentines Day without a heap of cheese? I enjoyed this book and if your after a nice light novel with a bit of romance, a bit of humour then I think this is a good choice. Its currently on the kindle store here,
Let me know if you read any other books by Matt Dunn and if you would recommend them, also any other books you would recommend.
Thanks for Reading,
